Only 4 days left my friends! 4 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Saturday Thomas and I took pictures for 6 hours (SO fun, but I was definitely ready for it to be over when we were done). I would put a picture up that Thomas took but I think my mom would murder me! That night we went to a hockey game, BEST HOCKEY GAME I've ever attended. We got free tickets from ISU! The game was super violent and it ended in a shoot-out. It was intense! The Steelheads earned a victory though!
When the game was over we walked by the capitol building and took some pictures.
Last night we went to Target and bought laundry soap, sheets, and a comforter set. VERY boring things. Then we went to Papa John's and picked up a pizza and went back to my apartment and hung out. I realized that we weren't really doing anything super fun but I was loving it. That's when I realized (again) how much I love Thomas! I'm super excited to be his wife in 4 DAYS!!!!!!!
Life is fantastic! Here are a few thoughts from January... I got offered a full time job! Working full time is wearing me out...I have no time for school! I met with some people about having music therapy in their business and they have started advertising AND parents are interested! There's even another company that wants to refer clients. I'm meeting with them next week to discuss future plans! 37 days until Thomas and I get married...we should find a place to live! Thomas is super fantastic and I don't know what I did to deserve him! Thomas and I went square dancing for the first time. SO FUN! I can say that even after I was wounded while there. This week I've noticed that some people are CRAZY and I'm happy that I don't have to have any association with them anymore. My family is amazing and fun. Here are some pictures from an awesome weekend:
Brenna danced during halftime at a basketball game!
He made a little snowman and put it on the fire. My dad ruined it. Lame!
So lazy!
My dad had a little too much fun shooting clay pigeons. Luckily Makayla was there to pull them for him the whole time.
Check out my new snow pants that Thomas bought me!
Last week was ridiculously busy! We started it off by going to my parents' house for Christmas Eve. My sisters, Thomas, and I went to Wal-Mart for our annual Christmas shopping adventure to get each other presents. It was much better this year with Thomas there. We were able to divide and conquer rather than me try and keep track of my sisters among all the people. It was a super successful trip!
The rest of the day was spent making cinnamon rolls and getting ready for Christmas.
That night we opened our pj's and read the Christmas story and another Christmas book. Christmas Eve to Christmas morning is my favorite 14 hours of the entire year! Thomas opened his presents that night as well because he had to work on Christmas morning. Lame!
On Christmas morning my sisters woke me up at 5:50 to open presents. I told them to wait 10 more minutes and they actually listened to me. It was super fun seeing them open their presents. After that we had to hurry and pack to go to Utah! We picked Thomas up in Boise on the way and away we went.
This year's trip was very different than past years.I found out that Brenna has fantastic music. She only wanted 6 songs put on her new Ipod but every single one of them was a dance song. We rocked out to "Hey Mickey" and she sang every word. YES! I found out my dad likes music! Who would have known? My mom and he were rocking out to old music on my zune. My dad requested a lot of music that I didn't have. I'm pretty sure the only reason why we stopped in Nephi that night instead of going all the way to St. George was so that I could load more music on my zune.
That night in the hotel was so fun. My parents continued to request more music and I tried to convince Savanna of the amazingness of NSYNC. I showed her this video.
She didn't really understand what the big deal was. She said that One Direction was much better. FALSE!
While we were in Utah we went to a trampoline place, snow tubing, played volleyball and basketball, and made sock puppets for my grandparents to take to Nauvoo with them next summer to give to visitors. Thomas and I made a pirate puppet family.
When we got home Thomas said that he had fun and that we should do it again. YES! I said that we would in two years! I'm already excited. Being with family is one of my favorite things. I'm super blessed to have the family that I have and to have grown up around such amazing people!
This weekend was super fantastic! Thomas and I went to the temple on Friday. It was amazing! I'm so excited about having the temple back in Boise. I love it so much! I especially love that I can go with Thomas. After the temple we went to dinner at The Crepery with almost all the girls in my family and the girls in the Froerer family. Everyone told Thomas that he wasn't a girl...uh...duh? After dinner Thomas dropped me off at the Taco Bell Arena for Disney on Ice and he went to a hockey game. Disney on Ice was way better than I thought it would be. Brenna LOVED it! It was fun to watch her.
After Disney on Ice I finally got to hang out with Thomas again. We went to see some sweet awesome Christmas lights with my family. They were choreographed lights synchronized with music that was transmitted on the radio.
Last night Thomas and I went to see Taken 2 with some friends. It's finally in the cheap theaters!!! After that we hung out at McDonald's and had an awesome conversation. My friends are the best! Thomas is definitely the best!
Today we went to Nyssa for a baby blessing. I was going 67 in a 55 and got pulled over. I didn't have my insurance card...not a current one anyway. Whoops! I could have gotten a ticket for $220 but he didn't give me one at all. I think it's because I said that we were going to church. Today at my grandparents' house everyone kept telling me that I need to have a baby as soon as I get married because I'm getting old. Bah! No way! I am not old!
In other news...97 days until Thomas and I get married!!!!!!
A few things about me...I grew up on a farm and LOVED IT! Driving tractors still makes me very happy. I am a board certified music therapist who LOVES my job! I have made it goal in life to get everyone to sing, dance, and just make music. I love summer, dance parties, fireworks in the water, shooting, and going on random adventures.
