I saw this on Elise's blog today and feel like it is soooooooooo TRUE...especially in Logan.
Dear most college girls,
If you gave guys half as much attention as you do your own roommates you would have more dates than you know what to do with.
-all of us college guys
Anyway...on to my guys:
Dear Cedar,
You are 5' 10''...this makes me happy! One more week until awesomeness commences!
Love,
Your soon-to-be not just texting friend
Dear Duet,
You should ask me to do something again. I might say yes if you asked more than a few hours before you wanted to hang out.
Love,
Girl-with-a-life
Dear ...,
You're such a great friend! Thanks for being awesome!
Love,
Samantha
Dear Crutches,
I'm still waiting for that date...haha.
Love,
Make-out girl
so I decided to shovel it. I'm a nerd and was actually excited to do it...until I got halfway through. When I decided that I just wanted to be done with the project two neighbor boys came and asked if they could finish shoveling for me. I, of course, said that they could. I was going to help them and then one boy said, "Can I use your shovel?" They are officially my favorite people of the day!
Dear Blondie,
Good job taking another girl on the date that we were supposed to go on and then bragging about it to me. Oh well, I'm over it!
Sam
Dear Mystery Boy,
I should have sat by you at church on Sunday but I was chicken. Lame!
Regretfully,
Sam
Dear ...,
Love,
Samantha
Dear New Boy,
That's cute that you think I went to that party to see you.
Thanks,
Samantha
Dear FHE,
I'm sorry that I forgot that I met you. Don't feel bad. You're the third boy in 2 months that that has happened with. I will remember you from now on!
Sorry,
Samurai
Dear Dancer,
We should hang out, go on a date, text...I don't know. It's your call.
Love,
Sam
Dear Friend,
You have a yellow light that could maybe be green.
Love,
Sam
Last night I went to dinner with a friend. He suggested that we use my car's GPS to find a new place to eat, so we searched chinese food. The first place we went to looked sorta sketchy so we continued our search and found this place:
We walked in and no one was around. Finally someone came in and asked us where we wanted to sit...the whole place was empty. Weird! We sat down and our waitress brought us menus. On the menu it had a disclaimer that (among other things) said that prices could change without warning and that the restaurant was not responsible for any lost items. There were about three or four other things on the disclaimer list that were equally ridiculous. Our waitress came over and started talking to us. She talked A LOT! We learned all about her life and her views on music, school, the job market, and many other things. Then she asked us how long we had been together because we were obviously dating because we dressed the same...haha! As we left I saw a drive-up window...this restaurant just gets better and better! It was quite an interesting dinner. At least the food was good!
Dear New Boy, You are becoming less attractive to me every time I see you. I really wanted to run out the door and warn that girl to stay away from your jerkishness. Peace-out, Samantha
Dear ..., I know that I shouldn't but I miss you. Love, Sam
Dear Friend, Whoa...that date just happened, and it was fun! Thanks, The Theorist
Dear Dancer, You should definitely come to church on Sunday so that I can see you again...definitely! Hoping you're not a jerk,
Sam
Dear all boys, Sometimes I feel like this should be my life motto: “A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left.” Marilyn Monroe
A few things about me...I grew up on a farm and LOVED IT! Driving tractors still makes me very happy. I am a board certified music therapist who LOVES my job! I have made it goal in life to get everyone to sing, dance, and just make music. I love summer, dance parties, fireworks in the water, shooting, and going on random adventures.
